Description:
Compact, intimate, and family-oriented, the
resort caters to adults with a "quiet" pool and to children
with an activities pool that also contains a children's section,
plus their own check-in desk, welcome amenities, and kids'
club. Part of the 6-mile (10-km) beach running along Cancún
Island's eastern shore, 100 yards (95 m) of powdery white
sand fronts the resort. Two pools offer alternative sunning/swimming
areas. One pool set above the beach features activities and
contains a children's section. A "quiet" pool lies at one
end of a fountain courtyard, with the other end containing
two three-person spa tubs and one fish-shaped, six-person
spa tub.
Amenities:
On-Site: A health spa offers massage, body
scrubs and wraps, facials, waxing, and hair and nail care.
(Services are not part of the All-Inclusive Plan and must
be paid for separately.) An air-conditioned fitness center
containing cardio and weight machines as well as free weights
provides yoga classes twice weekly as part of the All-Inclusive
Plan. Children age 4–10 have their own check-in desk
in the lobby, where they are given welcome packages that include
T-shirts, hats, sandals, temporary tattoos, postcards, and
disposable cameras. Part of the All-Inclusive Plan, a supervised
children's activities program centers around an air-conditioned
kids' club in a domed gazebo set above the beach next to a
cactus garden and a shaded outdoor-play area. Activities include
stage shows three nights weekly in Kelly's Sports Bar, stretching,
pool aerobics, dance and Spanish lessons, bingo, cooking classes,
and athletic competitions. Two computers in Kelly's Sports
Bar provide high-speed Internet access (surcharges). The resort
purifies its water.
