The unit overlooks the huge pool and wonderful beach. It's only a 10
minute drive to Lahaina Town where you can shop and dine at great
restaurants. I recommend the Royal Lahaina Luau (because it is most
authentic, but you need to reserve in advance because it's always sold
out!) Also, make sure to have lunch on the upper level at the
"Cheeseburger in Paradise" -- a burger and a couple of "Double
Troubles" will have you feeling fine! With 11 of the 13 climate zones,
Maui offers something for everyone! Take a 26 mile (downhill) ride from
the peak of Mt. Haleakala. Explore your way through the rain forests on
the road to Hana! Leave early though it's an all day drive - one you
will never forget. It's not for the timid driver though -- and buy the
travel tape (outrageously priced at $20, but worth it). Take the
snorkel raft trip to the south side of the island and see the beautiful
BLUE coral in a secluded bay.
